For example, if you wanted to search for laptops with screen sizes between 15 inches and 17 inches, you would set the sliders as shown below:

Please tell us the upper and lower limits to the capacity of the hard drive on your ideal laptop by clicking and dragging the sliders to the relevant position.

For example, if you wanted to search for laptops with a hard drive capacity of greater than 1 TB, you would set the sliders as shown below:

Click 'Select All' to search for laptops with hard drives of any capacity.

Please tell us the upper and lower limits to the capacity of the solid state drive on your laptop by clicking and dragging the sliders to the relevant position.

For example, if you wanted to search for laptops with a solid state drive capacity of greater than 64 GB, you would set the sliders as shown below:

Click 'Select All' to search for laptops with solid state drives of any capacity.

Please tell us the brand and model of processor you wish to have in your ideal laptop by using the drop down boxes.

If you are unsure about which brand or model of processor you would like to search for, just choose 'All Brands' and 'All Processors'.

If you wish, you can choose a particular brand of processor without choosing the model. To search for all Intel processors select 'Intel' in the first dropdown box and then select 'All Processors' in the 2nd dropdown box.

Click 'Select All' to search for laptops that have any brand or any model of processor.

Please tell us the upper and lower limits to the amount of RAM you wish to have in your laptop by clicking and dragging the sliders to the relevant position.

For example, if you wanted to search for laptops with between 2 GB and 8 GB of RAM, you would set the sliders as shown below:

Click 'Select All' to search for laptops with any amount of RAM.

Please tell us what the primary use of the laptop you wish to buy will be. This will help us determine which specification would be suitable for your needs.

For example, if you wanted to search for laptops that would be used in an office environment - capable of running the latest office software - you would set the checkbox as shown below:

Please tell us whether you would prefer a large or small screen on the laptop you wish to buy.

For example, if you preferred a laptop with a large screen, you would set the checkbox as shown below:

If the screen size of a laptop is not important to you, select 'Not Important'.

Please tell us if you intend to store lots of photos and video (or both) on the laptop you wish to buy.

For example, if you wanted to search for laptops that would be capable of storing lots of photos and video, set the checkboxes as shown below:

If you don't intend to store photos or video, select 'Not Important'.
