The Asus K50IJ-SX138E Notebook PC (K50IJ-SX138C) is designed to provide a no-frills computing experience to users while on the move. Boasting the muscle to provide cinematic audio and visual enjoyment, users can experience immersive entertainment anytime, anywhere in comfort and style. The ASUS K50IJ notebook sports a 15.6 inch high definition LED backlit display with a 16:9 golden aspect ratio provides high contrast rate and colour saturation, while an Intel UMA 4500 provides crisp and clear visuals. Altec Lansing speakers complemented by SRS Premium Sound technology with virtual surround sound provides high definition audio enjoyment.

The ASUS Super Hybrid Engine (SHE) consists of the Power4 Gear Hybrid application and the Energy Processing Unit (EPU). Power4 Gear Hybrid facilitates the deployment and usage of power according to the users’ preferences in relation to the specific tasks that they need to perform, while the EPU accurately detects the users’ power requirements and makes the necessary power adjustments. By intelligently optimizing both system performance and power efficiency, and combining with a 6-cell battery, the ASUS K50IJ notebook provides up to 6 hours of mobile computing. Designed to provide users with a comfortable mobile computing experience, the ASUS K50IJ notebook features the IceCool design, which boasts cleverly designed and positioned heat vents which keeps the palm rest cool, lower than that of the average human body temperature. ASUS IceCool design keeps temperature at palm rest area low even after long computing hours.
