I would give it 5 for performance but only 3 for setting up. As I am using it withg two different computers one using windows XP and one Windows Seven this prooved to be a marathon task!

This printer has exceeded all our expectations. The quality of the scanner was the most surprising aspect - great for making copies of old photos. Likewise the print quality is superb and considerably quicker than the HP Photosmart printer we had previously. The wireless was simplicity itself to connect to our home network. Highly recommended, especially at the price that OYYY were selling them at.

Brilliant quality and cheap cartridges, but instructions assume IT knowledge and I still haven't been able to connect wirelessly.

Had this printer for a month now, and it's perfect for all tasks. I'd rate as 5-star for copying, printing documents, and scanning (including scanning photos). It's very good at printing high-quality photos too, but I've not had the chance to compare it to our 5yr old Epson R300 photo printer (which was - and still is - excellent for high-quality photo printing). On the basis of the one photo I've printed out so far I'd say the new pixma MP620 is a shade lower for overall quality of print, but I'd need to print a lot more out to be sure!

Overall, a fantastic printer, slick design, intuitive functions, with the added feature of wireless connectivity. Highly recommended!

Does everything it says on the box. Quality photo prints and photo software is user friendly too. wireless set up not good for beginners, had to get a mate to do it for me. On the down side main comp and printer have to be on to print from laptop but this is a minor detail. Not done a great deal with it so far but impressed upto date. Delivery was good aswell. Very competetive price.

The printer was easy to set up so was up and running in no time. The quality of photos is very impressive especially considering the price. I love the lift up screen and the fact the door opens automatically when you print. Would recommend this printer as an excellent all round buy.

Was a bit of a problem with setup for wireless printing and had to download a fix program in order to get on own network, but ok after that. Havent had much time to try out properly but print quality is good and loads of settings.

It looks like very good sharp ,vivid coloured printer that does any task given perfectly.

Good all round printer scanner. Shame that it does not have duplex but printing wirelessly works fine. Had to download Windows 7 drivers and software from the Canon website as the installation disk is not up to date.

The printer was a replacement and I have to say I have been very happy. The set up was relatively easy and the use of the printer is straightforward. As yet the printer has only been used infrequently, but I am happy with the standard of colour and black and white prints.

Nice multi functional printer, especially wi-fi capability. Takes a little bit to set it up, manual not well laid out and does not work with Linux so be careful those who unknowingly bought a little net book from Dell.

To date, I've only used this printer for printing my own documents and a few things from the internet, but I'm very pleased with it so far.

I have only had this Printer a couple of weeks but first impressions are very good. My concerns before using it were how good photo prints would be but they are at least as good or maybe even beter than my previous epson photo printer. A bit long winded to setup at first but user freindly once up and running.Networks with other computers fine connects ok with PS3 also.

Canon PIXMA MP620 is a superbly performing multifunction printer. Very good scanning and printing quality combined with low price and low running costs (you can use cheap compatible cartridges that are much cheaper than the original ones) make this printer an outstanding value for money purchase. For a home use there is no point in spending loads of money for very complex printers if you won't use half of the options. MP620 will provide you with everything you can expect from your multifunction machine. Highly recommended!

Excellent printout, handy with scanning and copying functions, but as other users had pointed out - it is bulky!

Very happy so far. With a mixed home network of Windows and Linux I was a bit nervous about getting it to work wirelessly with Linux, but after updating CUPS and SANE everything went fine -- but I needed to open port 8611 in the openSUSE firewall.

No Probs.

I found the Canon PIXMA MP620 easy to set up and it has been working fine since purchased. I am very pleased with it.

Received the printer extremely promptly from OYYY - quite brilliant service. Despite being an aged-non-technical sort of bloke, I managed to get the wi-fi set up on both my own PC and my wife's laptop. Many thanks indeed. Haven't used the printer much yet - but looks great.

The MP620 combines the functionality of printer, scanner and copier in a good quality product. Installation using wireless networking was easy and access from a number of computers in the house for printing and scanning is simmple. The printer is compatible with Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) so ongoing costs should be low. The Canon £30 cashback offer resulted in low initial cost as well.

Not only great service from Oyyy - free delivery, ordered Friday arrived Monday morning, but a great value printer from Canon. Have been using it for a couple of weeks so far and all the functions work really well. The copy function is especially useful because of course you do not need to turn on computer to use it. The fold up display if clear and easy to use. Set up was a beeeze - all three of our computers are working wirelessly and recognised the printer as soon as the driver were installed. An excellent bit of kit.

This a very good in all that it dose. The wireless set up is a bit long winded. Cost of printed page (coluor or black)is good and print Quality is excellent. Very pleased with it.

Bought this after a fairly extensive search for what is a 'second' printer. Service from OYYY was first class, didn't need a fast delivery, but arrived within 2 working days.
Read thro' the destruction book a couple of times and, whilst details were not always as clear as could have been, the set up was fairly intuitive. Connected to network without any need to play around with settings. Print quality on fast mode v. good for general document printing photo mode, even using paper other than Canon, was excellent, however you can see a slight difference (improvement)when using dedicated Canon papers.
My only reservation at this time is the flimsy lower paper tray and that it does not hold much paper. Had the tray had the same robust feel of the machine I would have marked a 5.

this is a first class mp printer you will not be dispointed the only thing is the price of canon inks so come on canon drop the price of inks and you may sell more products

This is a great quality printer and good supplied software but setting up the wireless networking is difficult and has poor instructions. I managed to get it set up and a day or two later it lost the wireless connection again. Very frustrating. Had the MP610 (not wireless) before and very happy with that. If you don't need the wireless capability it will be fine, if you do it may be a nuisance.

This printer is the best one I have ever owened. It is stylish and very easy to use. Once the initial set up is performed, which I must add took longer than anticipated, then its functions are straight forward. The photo quality is excellent along with the scanner. I immediately printed off around twenty photos whichm took very little time. Overall this printer is very good. It is much quieter than the old lexmark I had, which rattled away, and the wirelss capability is very usefull. I would definately recommend this printer. As for cost of cartridges, my children have printed off seversl pictures, documents etc along with the photos and there seems to be very little ink used. Only further use will determine if they prove to be cost effective.

My previous printer was the Canon Pixma is8500 which I bought for photographs. When it died I couldn't really justify a replacement. I went for the model because of the reviews. I shouldn't have worried as this printer does what I want it too and more. Thoroughly recommend this model.

Very good printer. Printing & scanning works well. I don't like the cassette at the bottom of the printer. The flap is in the way pulling it out to add paper. I use the rear feed to print envelope etc. I've also tried to use it for duplex printing, but it wasn't very successful. I'd wish I bought one with duplex printing but can't justify the cost!

Gone were the days of printer attached to a PC. Setting up wireless could be tricky, but as long as one knows what he/she's doing, it'll be fine. Once setting was in place, you could leave it to run. There are one or two occasions when the PC's couldn't detect the wireless print device. It was frustrating to find out where the setting was and to reset it.

I have the MP610 (not wireless) which has excellent features and is well built.I recommended the Mp620 (Wireless) to a friend who needed wireless printing.Having set it up and played with it,considering it is the next model up it is a bit flimsy in comparison to my identical looking MP610.Be careful with the rear tray.Also it no longer has the feature to print directly onto Printable CD or DVD's.My bad.. should have read the specs in more detail. Other than that it gives excellent print quality..is fairly quiet. Both Mp610 and 620 are heavy on ink usage and the cartridges are expensive. Wireless feature works well.Bundled OCR software works exceptional fast and well but only tried simple pages to date.

Does what it says on the tin really. Wanted a reasonably priced all-in-one that I could use on my home network (mixed PC and Mac). Easy to install and configure on both PC and Mac. Have tried leaving it on all the time but it sometimes becomes unresponsive and needs a reboot, so have taken to switching it off when not in use.

Recommended if you want a networked all-in-one.

If you want an all in one that prints well, this is it!

I needed to replace my canon pixma ip3000 due being over worked. I requirements were: Single ink tanks, 2x black shades, multi function, quick, wifi, and really good photo quality. This has fitted the bill.
My only complete was the manual. It is only available to view on your computer. I have printed some off.
This printer came with all the leads and inks. I did however purchase inks at the same time as I didn't realise that. Oyyy are the cheapest I have found for real Canon inks anyway.

Multifunction Printer performs as advertised. Easy to set up. Print quality seems good, Wi-Fi works fine. Can't comment on how long the inks last as I have not had to replace any cartridges yet.

I was concerned about buying this printer as I really wanted the MP630 but I also wanted the ability to print wirelessly. My reservations have so far been unfounded as the printer works well and produces great quality pictures. Setting up was very straight forward - other reviews I read suggested otherwise.
All in all good value for money and good quality prints - I am very pleased with this purchase

Excellent service fro Oyyy who delivered promptly. I had no problems setting up - I am using ethernet and printer s situated by my router so have not bothered with wireless. Now happily working on my computer and printing everything I need from photographs to photocopies. I have ewen managed it scan. This is an excellent all round easy to use printer at a great price.

I bought this printer to print greetings cards and photos. I hated all the printers I have had at home in the past. They were all noisy, with no place to store the paper, lots of cables and replacement cartiridges that were more expensive than the budget printer itself. For this purchase I wanted a high quality print finish. This printer is incresibly easy to set up and use, is incredilby quiet during printing, has no messy cables as it is wireless and prints fabulous greeting cards and photos. I used it to send my Thank You cards following Christmas this year and everyone who received on of my cards commented on the superior print quality and that it prints right to the edge of the page. Simply - this printer is fantastic value. I love it.

Very impressive printer/scanner. Quiet operation. Takes about 30 seconds to warm up before first printing. It has a habit of occassionally not picking up paper from the bottom tray, and telling you that it has run out, but that's a minor hiccup.

Easy and Simple Installation. Remember when connecting other Computers to the Printer to use the Network Tool. Printer works flawlessly. The Instruction Book ahould would be better with a dedicated English Section to ease any problems, but all round a good product. A 4 Grading simply because of a Fiddly Instruction Book. Exceptional printer with great quality prints.

This is a brilliant bit of kit.I needed a new printer after my epsom packed up and I wanted one principally for printing photos and I have not been disappointed. The quality of my first photos are absolutely first class. They are as good as photos from a professional developer. Easy to setup,it took about 3/4 hour and everything worked first time. Wireless operation is faultless and having just scanned some 40 year old photos, again the quality of the scan and subsequent prints is great.
If you need a new printer buy this.
