The RD-X59DT has a 250GB hard disk drive for versatile recording up to 284 hours at the touch of a button, without searching for unused tapes or discs. The RD-XV59DT has an HDMI connection, up-scaling standard definition DVDs to 720p, 1080i and 1080p, delivering impressive image quality from your existing DVD collection. As well as offering ‘Chase Play’ and ‘Pause Live TV’ the RD-XV59DT offers an analogue and a digital tuner for access to Freeview, all available through your existing aerial. To Top all these great features with the recorders ability to play MP3 files, compressed audio and video content from the internet with DivX compression and let you view all your photos archived to disc with a JPEG picture viewer.
